About the Role:

We are looking for a Talent Acquisition/HR Coordinator to join our team and participate in the hiring process from beginning to end and all things HR! You will play a key role in supporting our busy and dynamic People and Culture team, focused on CDC’s recruitment and HR initiatives/projects.  You will be working in a fun loving, high- collaborative team, providing recruitment administration support and high-level HR coordination. In this role, you will gain exposure to various exciting HR projects. This is a fantastic opportunity to grow and develop your skills, interacting across all levels of internal/external stakeholders at CDC.

Other key responsibilities include:

  • Leveraging strong communication skills to provide great experience to candidates and employees at CDC
  • Build excellent working relationships with candidates/job seekers ensuring timely update
  • Responsible for the administrative tasks in an end to end internal recruitment process
  • Schedule interviews and manage logistics for interviews across all CDC locations (Canberra, Sydney & Auckland)
  • Screen candidates via resume review and phone interviews to verify appropriate hard and soft skills to meet specific job requirement
  • Organise pre-employment testing, reference and background checks
  • Perform a variety of administrative support tasks, which may include processing incoming/outgoing mail, scheduling, and coordinating and setting up meetings and videoconferences.
  • Support new hire and onboarding processes, including scheduling and communication with internal teams
  • Assist with various HR-related special projects and reports on an ongoing or ad hoc basis.
  • Perform a variety of other tasks as necessary to support the People & Culture team and carry out day to-day responsibilities

  • Set priorities, plan workload, meet deadlines and achieve objectives through the efficient use of time.
  • Passion and ability on sharing content and leveraging on social media platforms such as LinkedIn for employer branding would be an added advantage


Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
