About the Role:

This is a fantastic opportunity for a driven and results oriented Assurance and Compliance Advisor, who is energized by the challenge to deliver in our industry leading Data Centres across Australia and New Zealand. This is a great opportunity to contribute to meaningful quality assurance work to ensure that systems and processes comply with agreed policies and standards. 

Reporting to the Assurance, Integrity & Risk Manager at CDC based in Canberra, you will be responsible for the maintenance and regular review of the integrated management system, including quality assurance and audits.

Other responsibilities include:  

  • Responsible for the document control and upkeep of new and existing policies and procedures;
  • Responsible for the creation of new policies and procedures 
  • Responsible for the planning and conduct of internal management system audits and assistance during external audits. 
  • Responsible for the upkeep of all documentation in accordance with ISO standards and accreditation and in alignment with CDC’s Integrated Management System;
  • Responsible to undertake quality reviews of newly created and/or revised documentation in alignment with CDC’s Document Management process;
  • Assist with obtaining and maintaining alignment with TIA-942 and ISO standards for the data centres during both the build and operation phase. This will potentially include supporting the proactive engagement of engineers for timely assessment of compliance requirements.
  • Assist in risk management and integrity related activities to increase employee awareness and reduce risks to CDC. 
  • Support teams to meet compliance and governance requirements.

About You:

  • Knowledge and understanding of quality management, assurance and/or auditing.
  • Previous experience in managing, maintaining and auditing quality and compliance management systems and related requirements. 
  • Experience with and exposure to applicable laws, regulations, standards relevant to a large critical infrastructure provider, including particularly ISO 9001, 14001, 45001 and/or 27001
  • Existing auditor qualifications or working towards would be preferred.
  • Familiarity with Australian Government Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF) desirable.
  • Experience with data centres, telecommunications, or other critical infrastructure a plus.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills.
  • Previous experience with MS SharePoint, including development of SharePoint sites (desirable).
  • Possess a high level of organisational skills and attention to detail with an ability to prioritise.
  • Team player and exhibit excellent communication skills at all levels.

Essential:

Australian citizenship and ability to obtain an NV1 Security Clearance
